The Kulikovo battle of 1380 largely becamea turning point in the history of Russia. After it there was a weakening in the actions of the Tatar-Mongol, followed by the rise of Moscow, in this battle, Russian people showed themselves as a single people, and not as scattered princedoms. And there was a battle on the Kulikovo field.
Where is Kulikovo Field? The actions of those years are not a fairy tale and not a fiction and it has precise geographical coordinates. There is it even now. A field is located in the Tula region in the Kimovsky district. At the present moment the nearest settlement to these places is the village of Monastyrshchino. True, scientists are still arguing about the exact location of the battlefield. From the natural point of view, the Kulikovo field belongs to the places of the Oka-Don interfluve and is a steppe area.

They also perform archeological excavations and search for artifacts of history, and the Kulikov field itself is given a memorial status, which fixes the historical significance of the events of those years and the special position among the others.
